**Our Proposal Story from the Bride's View**

On a beautiful October day, we set out for what I thought would be a lovely family lunch in Dubuque, Iowa, at Vinny Vanucchi's Italy Restaurant. Little did I know, this day was destined to be much more than just a casual get-together.

For a year, Al had playfully teased me about proposing with a ring pop, and I always laughed it off, thinking it was just one of his jokes. After our delightful meal, I decided to indulge in a slice of cheesecake for dessert, eager to savor the moment.

There, nestled atop the creamy cheesecake, was a vibrant ring pop, and the plate bore the enchanting words, “Marry Me!” In that instant, I was swept away by the surprise and whimsy of it all. I glanced at Al, who was watching me with a smile that lit up the room.
